Getting the draft right.

We were tasked with creating a series of infographics using pieces provided by Microsoft. However, for the infographic we were not given a specific layout or sequence to follow. To ensure we met the client's expectations, I created draft versions of the infographics, including a rough diagram that we believed would be the most effective layout. We then submitted these drafts to Microsoft for approval before proceeding with the final versions. This approach saved us time and resources by preventing us from having to make extensive edits to more heavily designed versions.

Designing for clarity,
intrigue and accessibility.

During the final stage of the design process, we aimed to achieve two key goals. First, we wanted to ensure that our designs were easily understandable to a wide audience, which required us to follow Microsoft's accessibility guidelines by using large type on high contrast backgrounds. Second, we wanted to keep the reader engaged throughout the content, so we employed various techniques such as diverse layouts, succinct data callouts, and relevant and compelling images. By combining these strategies, we were able to prevent lengthy scrolls from becoming tedious and deliver a visually appealing and accessible final product.
